Winning Ugly

Standard

I can’t bear to look at this,

There’s no grace,
No composure,
No pointed toes,
Or upright back.

The T’s aren’t crossed,
The I’s aren’t dotted,
The entry is a messy splash,
The landing is shaky.

No finesse in the strokes,
No sweetness in the voice,
Nothing eye catching about the idea,
And the presentation is an eyesore,

It’s not much,
It’s far from your best,
In fact it’s barely there.

But a win,
Is a win.
Even at its ugliest.
