Standard

Slowly the fire
Immersed into the sea
And all that was seen
Were black-gray scrawls
Across the orange canvas

Weeping eyes shut tight
She wished the world away
‘There’s no place like home’
‘There’s no place like home’
‘There’s no place like home’

Another blow;
She took a deep breath
and veiled herself again
Then sat back behind him
As he drove her ten thousand miles,
away from Home.
